Last month, Georgia Music Partners and gener8ator offered Georgia creatives and music industry professionals access to the “Georgia Emergency Response Program,” where participants had access to a free webinar series and other virtual programming to help them cope with the effects of COVID-19.
The Emergency Response Program ultimately attracted over 350 individuals in the Georgia music industry – and 445 views of the content throughout the week. 69% of attendees were artists, with the rest comprising of marketers, managers, legal, government, education, and distribution company disciplines.
Sessions included discussions with Karen Allen, Author of Twitch for Musicians, Jay Gilbert who created marketing plans for the likes of Elton John and Kiss, Brian Johnston, Senior Director of A&R for Atlantic Records and Brandon Bush, member of Sugarland and formerly Train.
The program included online marketing tutorials, financial and business tutorials, and mental wellness discussions.
The full lineup of speakers and topics can be viewed, and recordings accessed on demand, for free, via https://www.gener8tor.com/emergency-response-program/georgia.
