ATLANTA:  Georgia Music Partners (GMP) announced today the appointment of several new Directors to its Board, which now boasts eighteen music industry professionals. The growth of the board from six Executive Directors just a handful of years ago to this year’s talent was driven in part by the need to support the breathe of advocacy activities the organization is a part of, and in part by leadership’s objective of diversifying the expertise represented in order to echo the rich tapestry of the state’s current music business.

“We’re delighted to be able to draw such a strong and diverse local talent to our all-volunteer organization,” said Shachar Oren, President of GMP. “Our growth positions us well for the upcoming year, which opened with our advocacy work for HB-347 and will include several additional expansions of our advocacy work and volunteerism for Georgia’s music industry.”
